# Manage connected accounts

Use Connect an app account (https://docs.sydekyks.com/getting-started/connections) for the user procedure. Administration adds account ownership, lifecycle and recovery planning.

## ​Keep an account record

Record the connection’s purpose, provider account owner, environment and missions that depend on it. Avoid a shared personal account when the provider offers a suitable service or team account.

## ​Review access

Check whether each connection still needs its scopes and destinations. Rotate or reconnect credentials through the supported provider and connection flow. Test affected missions before returning them to live use.

## ​Offboarding and incidents

Identify missions tied to an account before revoking it. Disable or update affected missions and verify their replacements. If a credential is exposed, rotate it at the provider and update the connection; removing text from one screenshot does not revoke the credential.
