# Share an integration

Sydekyks user and operator guide. Check feature availability and release-specific installation requirements.

After building and testing a piece, choose where its package and source will live.

- Public npm (https://docs.sydekyks.com/build-pieces/sharing-pieces/community) is a public distribution path for pieces intended to be shared.

- Upstream contribution (https://docs.sydekyks.com/build-pieces/sharing-pieces/contribute) keeps community changes reviewable in the upstream project.

- A Sydekyks source-built bundle is an operator-managed deployment path that must be verified against the selected release.

The native upstream private-piece upload UI, API-key publishing CLI and tarball sync CI/CD are paid workflows and are excluded from this guide. A private Git repository does not make those features available.
