# Get Sydekyks for your team

Sydekyks user and operator guide. Check feature availability and release-specific installation requirements.

Start with the work your team keeps chasing. We help you decide whether a workflow is a good fit, agree the scope, and set up the platform around your tools and review points.

Sydekyks is free to self-host, with every available feature included. No license key or trial is required. Follow installation instructions (https://docs.sydekyks.com/install/options/docker-compose), or contact us for optional managed hosting, support and workflow implementation.

## Start a conversation

Tell us about your workflow (https://www.sydekyks.com/#conversation) or email info@sydekyks.com (mailto:info@sydekyks.com). A short description of the task, the tools you use and how often it happens is enough. Please leave out confidential documents and credentials.

We begin with a guided demo or discovery conversation. Before a pilot, we agree the workflow, connections, responsibilities, success checks, fee and ongoing costs. AI provider usage, hosting and support arrangements are confirmed for that engagement.

## Choose where it runs

 | Option | What it means for your team

 | Hosting arranged with us | We agree the hosting and maintenance responsibilities, prepare your deployment, and give your team its workspace URL and account access.

 | Your own infrastructure | Follow the Docker Compose guide to install for free. Your IT team manages infrastructure, updates and backups; additional help is optional.

The public Docker image lets your operator install Sydekyks without source repository access. All available features are free to use. Install the supported release (https://docs.sydekyks.com/install/options/docker-compose) or arrange hosting with us. Setup and support are agreed for your deployment; third-party provider API costs are additional.

## Once your workspace is ready

Your administrator supplies the platform URL, invitation or account setup instructions, and support contact. Open that URL in your browser; the documentation website is separate from your workspace.

Start using your workspace after account setup. See free software and optional services (https://docs.sydekyks.com/getting-started/licensing).

Follow sign-in and account access (https://docs.sydekyks.com/getting-started/access), then find your way around (https://docs.sydekyks.com/getting-started/workspace) and try your first mission (https://docs.sydekyks.com/getting-started/first-mission).

## For your IT team

The operator reference (https://docs.sydekyks.com/install/overview) explains deployment considerations for an agreed installation. Docker Compose installation (https://docs.sydekyks.com/install/options/docker-compose) includes the public image and complete configuration templates. Your operator supplies private secrets, HTTPS, backups and the credentials for your connected apps.
