Sydekyks 1.0.6 and later are free to self-host. Every available feature is included without a license key, activation, trial period or expiry date. Create your account and start building missions. Install Sydekyks on your own infrastructure. If you prefer help, contact us for optional hosting, support or workflow implementation. Their scope and price are agreed before you commit.

Existing installations

Versions through 1.0.5 use the earlier activation system. Back up your installation and upgrade to the unrestricted release. Your missions, Connected Accounts, users and stored data are preserved. Old license records are ignored; no activation or license renewal is required after upgrading. Use the same release on every app and worker. Keep your encryption key, JWT secret, database and application volumes. Normal account access and workspace permissions still apply.

Separate running costs

Self-hosting uses your own infrastructure. Connected apps and AI providers may charge for subscriptions or API usage. Those costs are separate from the free Sydekyks software and optional hosting/support services.

Data destinations

The unrestricted release does not register your installation with a licensing service or refresh entitlements. Your missions still call the apps and providers you configure. Review data destinations before connecting sensitive workflows. Sydekyks is source available. New original covered contributions use the Sydekyks Sustainable Use License: all available features are free for personal and internal business self-hosting; competing hosting and software resale require written authorization; authorized partner hosting and support remain allowed. The existing MIT source baseline and already published 1.0.6 image retain their original permissions, including commercial hosting and redistribution. This licensing transition adds no new functional application code and does not restrict that existing MIT implementation. Underlying open-source components retain their own licenses and notices. See attribution and licenses.
